Dashboard

The Home tab is your starting point every time you open Dropshipping Product Optimizer. It shows setup progress, your results so far, this cycle’s billing status, and a shortcut back into recent runs.

Setup Checklist

New stores see a checklist that reflects your store’s real state rather than a stored flag, so it ticks itself off automatically as you go:

  • AI is ready - confirms Dropshipping Product Optimizer can reach the AI provider that powers every optimization
  • Describe your store - set your language, store vertical, and any writing rules in Settings. This has the single biggest effect on output quality
  • Optimize your first products - create your first run from the Products tab
  • Review and approve - approve at least one run

Describing your store is optional

Every other step must be completed before the checklist disappears, but “Describe your store” is marked optional - you can skip it and Dropshipping Product Optimizer will still run on its defaults. Setting your vertical and writing rules is still strongly recommended; skipping it just doesn’t block setup.

Your Results So Far

Once you have at least one applied product, a row of stat tiles summarizes your activity:

  • Products rewritten - how many products have been successfully applied, across all runs
  • Runs created - how many runs you’ve started in total
  • Reverted - how many applied products you’ve reverted (this tile only appears once you’ve reverted at least one)

This Billing Cycle

A dedicated section shows your current plan, how many of your included products you’ve used this cycle with a progress bar, and either how many products you have remaining or what further products this cycle will cost at your plan’s overage rate. A Manage plan link takes you straight to Billing.

Optimize More Products

Once setup is complete, a card invites you to pick more products, review a before/after diff for each, and approve only the ones you want. An expandable Example panel shows a sample supplier title being cleaned up, so new users can see the effect before running anything themselves. A live count of products ready to optimize sits above the Choose products button, which takes you to the Products tab.

Recent Runs

Below that, a table of your five most recent runs shows each run’s number, status, progress (processed out of total products), and creation date, with a View all runs link through to the full Runs tab. If you have no runs yet, this section instead invites you to select products to get started.

Runs process in the background

If any run is currently previewing or applying, a banner lets you know it’s being processed in the background and that it’s safe to leave the page - you don’t need to keep the tab open for a run to finish.
